Chadwick entered Friday’s Prep League showdown with a 4-0 mark in league play, giving the Dolphins a one-half game lead over Flintridge Prep, which was 3-0.
But Prep made a statement and did so early to take over the game Friday and at least for now, took over the Prep League penthouse.
Prep outscored the Dolphins, 35-15 in the first half, and cruised to a 66-42 victory.
Kaitlyn Chen led all scorers with 22 points, while Renae Tamura had 17 and Andie Kim chipped in with 12.
Megan Dinnegan led Chadwick with 16 points and Madison Benson had 12.
Prep will host Westridge Thursday night at 5.
