Arcadia pitcher Jacob Kampen had his way at Pasadena last Tuesday.
Six days later, Kampen took out Muir, 12-0, by throwing a 5-inning no-hitter.
Arcadia had a 10-plus run lead and by rule, a game is considered a “mercy-rule” if any team has at least a double digit lead after the losing side has had at least five at-bats.
Kampen walked three and struck out six en route to the win.
Dominick Tello had two hits and three RBIs for Arcadia, and Jacob Lopez and Trent Hisey both had two hits apiece.
Jesse Carazua went two innings and allowed 8 runs (six earned) on five hits.
Tyquise Soloman went three innings and surrendered four runs (two earned) on five hits.
Muir will travel to Arcadia on Friday with the hopes of evening the two-game series this week.
