Poly is starting to get hot at the right time.

If there were ever a time to break out of a slump, it’s in the middle of league.

Poly went outside of Prep League Tuesday and swept Bosco Tech by scores of 25-19, 25-18 and 25-23.

After two wins in two days last week, the Panthers are in position to claim second place in league behind Flintridge Prep.

Matt Alison led the way again with 10 kills and 3 digs.

Richard Berry added 5 blocks and James Olson had 3 blocks and a .500 hitting percentage.

Will McConnell led Poly with 24 assists and 5 digs.

Poly will travel to Rio Hondo Prep on Thursday at 4, with temporary control of second place at stake.

Quotable:

Poly coach Jack Prater: “I feel the team is growing more comfortable with each other and playing better together as a team. In turn, I think that’s allowing them to play with a lot more confidence, and it’s yielded some positive results for us.”

Records:
Poly 7-9; Bosco Tech 11-10
