In a battle of Lancers, it was the girls from La Puente that defeated the Lancers of Pasadena.
First place Bishop Amat scored eight runs in the final four innings to pull away from La Salle, 12-4.
Chelle Encinas singled three times and drove in two runs, while scoring one run.
Katrina Yuzelfpolsky singled twice and score once.
Lauren Veneri went 2 for 4, including a double and a run scored.
Sophia Sansone singled and scored for La Salle.
Bella Ortega and Alyssa Arroyo both went 1 for 3 and they both had an RBI.
La Salle will travel to St. Paul next Tuesday at 3:15
