Had the game gone all seven innings, Poly’s Catalina Alonso might very well have hit for the cycle.
But in the Panthers’ 10-0, mercy-rule victory in five innings, Alonso did all she could.
Alonso went 3 for 3, including a single, double and home run.
Alonso scored three runs and had 5 RBIs.
Brennah Bronk picked up her ninth victory of the season and drove in two runs at the plate.
Ali Ulin went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Ella Cornwell also drove in two runs for the Panthers.
Maddie Magee and Rory Xanders each had a hit apiece and a run scored.
Jacqueline Garrity picked up her first base hit of the season.
Poly will travel to Firebaugh today at 3:30 against the last-place Falcons (5-11, 0-7).
