Don’t let the 5-11 season record fool you, Maranatha ended the season on a very high note.
The Minutemen lost their first nine matches this season.
But they found their footing and won five of their last six.
Maranatha swept Village Christian by scores of 25-18, 25-22 and 25-23 on Tuesday.
Jesse Elrod had 10 kills, 8 blocks, 24 digs and 3 aces.
Mason Swinnie added 5 kills, 8 digs, 3 blocks and 3 aces.
Sean Espinosa had 7 kills and 8 digs.
Josiah Rojas added 19 assists, 2 blocks, 2 aces and a kill.
