Mayfield all but secured a playoff berth with Tuesday’s victory over Firebaugh.
The Cubs hammered the Falcons, 21-1, at Brookside Park.
Jaylin Domingo allowed just one hit and one run and she struck out six.
With two games to play, Mayfield (7-3 in league) has a two-game lead in third place over Flintridge Prep, who are 4-5 in Prep League play.
Lauren Clawson went 2 for 4 with two doubles, and she drove in five runs.
Madeline Hotaling drove in four runs and went 3 for 5.
Mayfield will travel to Chadwick on Friday at 3:30.
